My family recently finished reading this to our children each morning.
It was very enjoyable to read. My kids love the illustrations, and the use of figures of speech make it enjoyable for adults too. The best part about this book, in my opinion, is how it connects every story from the Old Testament through the New Testament, to God's plan of eternal salvation. It made some connections between the Old and New Testaments that I had not previously noticed. I am sure we will give a few of these as gifts in the future.
